Why do we need to see all of the operating systems that we use? The graphical user interface (GUI) operating system was invented by Xerox in the 1970s, introduced to the mass market by Apple in the 1980s and then became truly ubiquitous due to Microsoft’s marketing muscle in the 1990s.

I have an intellectually curious six-year-old. He asks me so many questions now that I just can’t answer. So in order to curb his enthusiasm for smart questions and in order to be able to add some edutainment to the learning process, I bought an Amazon Echo; it rocks!
